Read moreCongratulations to the 15 members of our Senior Beta Club who competed at the Georgia State Beta Convention in Savannah. Included in the 22 events: creative writing, poetry, academic tests, visual arts, marketing and communication, cake decorating, and performing arts.
We are especially excited for two HCA students who qualified for the upcoming National Beta Convention in Orlando this summer.

Maya Drake...4th Place/2D Design
With a sweep in all three disciplines - Skeet, Trap, and Sporting Clays - our Varsity Clay Target Team won the GAPPS Open Division Clay Target State Championship!
Individual awards: Will Crook, Luke Holmes, Sade Kangas, Carsyn Price
Our Middle School Clay Target Team won 1st Place in Skeet at the tournament, with Colton Kelly taking home an individual award.

HCA was one of ten schools to compete at the GAPPS State Academic Day in Macon, and they came away with two championships! Congratulations to the History Bowl Team state champs, and to our entire group for earning the overall state championship!
After a hard-fought race between Duck and Farmer Brown, our young voters have spoken and declared Farmer Brown to be the winner! The 'election' was a fun learning experience, complete with registration forms, voter ID cards, ballots, poll workers, and security. Congratulations to both candidates for their campaign efforts!
Congratulations to our middle school group who earned 1ST PLACE SCHOOL at the October GAPPS Region Academic Day!

On Thursday, April 18, a group of 24 HCA Beta Club members volunteered at the Paulding County Special Olympics track and field event. Thank you to all of these students, and to Mrs. Chaney Billips for her amazing leadership.
HCA recently received "BEST SCHOOLS" ranking for the FOURTH STRAIGHT YEAR! Harvester once again achieved the highest Niche grade level among schools in Douglas County. We are truly grateful for God's blessings on our School!
